the other night, i sat down with jillian to work on sorting shapes with her. i took all the shapes out and put the blue lid back on top of the container. then i picked up a shape and told her to put it in the right hole - she promptly responded to me "no mommy, like this" and proceeded to take the blue lid off and put all the shapes inside the container and then put the blue lid on top! an engineer in training for sure!
in our new house, the closets have built-in drawers and shelves. so i thought it would be nice for jillian to be able to pick out her own pajamas each night after her bath. well, this is the outfit that she came up with the other night! the pants are pajamas - but unfortunately she can also reach the t-shirt shelf and she INSISTED on wearing this outfit combination!
don't let that smile fool you - she's got quite the personality!
jillian figured out how to climb on the stool to turn the light on and off... and the fan.... and the nightlight.....
