first i took one of helen's tank tops as my prototype example

i drew out my pattern on tissue paper

now for the spots!

the teacher will need to decide if she wants the spots out of felt or painted on the fabric

i can add costume designer to my resume! :) this is the lady bug costume that 15 of the girls will wear for the performance of swan lake in april. yikes! i need to make 15 of these costumes very soon!
