going along with the theme of my "food rules" post from last week- tonight i told helen she had to eat a "courtesy portion" of her dinner before she could have a popsicle for dessert. it's not like the food i was "making" her eat was anything weird or unusual... it was chicken! something we have at least 2 times a week :) i have noticed that she will eat hamburger, lunch meat, and hot dogs (if you call that meat!) - but she will not eat chicken. weird!
so i took these pictures of her "forcing" the courtesy portion. then 2 seconds later she spit out the chicken! so - no popsicle for helen! (mean mommy, i know!)
where did the phrase "courtesy portion" come from anyway!?!
