Flat Stanely has been visiting Sturgis for about a week now. He came in the mail from our friend, Lily, who lives in Wisconsin. Unfortunately Flat Stanley's first site to visit here was the emergency room at Sturgis Hospital. "Somehow" Flat Stanley was ripped in half while mommy was not guarding him. Helen and Jillian could not offer any explaniations as to how this tragedy occured.
... and now that Flat Stanley is fixed - he can officially began his Sturgis Adventure!
BUT not before an interview at the Sturgis Police Department to determine exactly HOW Flat Stanely got ripped in half!..... Helen and Jillian were NOT providing a confession unless a lawyer was present :)
Flat Stanely saw his first Amish horse and buggy - parked outside of the Kroger grocery store and right next to the DMV :)
next, Flat Stanley visited the butcher in Sturgis
fresh T-bone steaks for the grill - YUM!
Flat Stanley stopped by the Post Office in Sturgis too
No Starbucks here in Sturgis - but Flat Stanley did visit Great Lakes Chocolate and Coffee Shop - YUM!
Can't leave Sturgis with visiting THE STRAND THEATER!
Flat Stanley played with Jillian and Helen during storytime at the Sturgis Library.

Flat Stanley concluded his visit with us by getting an adjustment at the chiropractor.
