sunday, june 26th - i ran in the Weesp Half-Marathon... i was the 4th woman to cross the finish line and placed 54th overall. my time... well it was not my best but an honest 1hour 48minutes. about 3 miles of the course was on dirt, grass, and other various unstable surfaces. brought back way to many memories (nightmares) of my cross-country track career in high school. i'm definitely a track and hard surface kind of girl :) it was a very hot and humid day in the netherlands and the course did not have much shade at all - but overall a good race. the best part of the race was having the kids (minus jillian who rode up in the stroller with ross) run with me to the finish line!

Congrats! I can't imagine running 13 miles in under 2 hours. Oh, wait... I can't imagine running 13 miles AT ALL! :) You go, girl!
I've been watching House Hunters International a lot lately, and they've featured two families in the Netherlands recently. Made me think of you! :)
