these boots were made for....

HELEN!

our neighbor brought over some toys and other miscellaneous items that they no longer used. in the box of stuff were these blue boots. helen absolutely loves these boots and insists on wearing them every day... even though it has not rained for almost a week and it's been in the lower 80's for temps - she insists on wearing these boots.

now i must admit - these boots are very practical for the Netherlands.... it seems to rain quite a bit here and these boots are perfect for running around in the yard during the rain.... not sure about the sunny days though.... but i think for now - i'll pick my battles and let her wear her boots!

note: these pictures did not require any prompting on my part... she posed like this all on her own. can you see the attitude :)

(now if only i had taken the time to iron the dress - it would have been a perfect picture!)
