Where's the adventure in the word "move"?

I want to start out this post with a link to a site where you can have your blog "printed".

With that said - I hope to have a print made of my blog for every year that we are in the Netherlands. Kind of like an "electronic baby book" - which reminds me - I MUST finish the 3 kids baby books before the 4th one arrives!!! Ahhhhhh!!!

Ok - back on my topic for tonight.... I want my blog to log all the steps of this move for our family...both good and bad... funny and scary..... stressfull and memorable.....

Today, I am struggling with how this move is going to be an adventure! The day before Christmas - I look outside my window only to see a guy installing a BIG yellow FOR SALE sign..... my first reaction is WOW! this move really is for REAL! Then I think, WAIT - our house is not FOR SALE - it's just FOR RENT! I better get this fixed! The next day, a for RENT sign is added - phew... but wait it's still a reality check everytime I pull up to the house. "My house is for rent!".

The reality sets in further as the calls begin to come in for "showings"... ahhhhh! Now I actually have to keep things picked up around the house... dishes done.... bathrooms cleaned up..... laundry in order..... AND organize the house for the 3 shipments (air, sea, storage)..... oh AND prepare for a baby that's due in about 5 weeks! AHHHHH... Not to mention the fact that today I got a call about a showing..... the people were actually sitting in my driveway calling to see if it was ok to see the house RIGHT NOW!..... so much for 'advance notice'.

2 weeks from today the movers will decend upon our house to pack up the items that we will be shipping by sea... including our minivan and most household furniture.

I know there will be adventure in this move at some point....
