have you ever.....

have you ever stopped to think of the things that you have in your everyday life that you would miss if you had to go without them for a while?

well, this question has been on my mind recently since the movers came and packed up most of our stuff.

after they left last week, i quickly realized that we packed up all of our bathroom trashcans (on purpose of course, so that we would not have to buy new trashcans in the netherlands). so i went down in the basement to look for a 'replacement'. the best i could do was to gather several buckets from the basement..... and 1 of them doesn't even fit very well in the space we typically put our trashcan in the kid's bathroom. even helen tried to put the trashcan where it "should go" and after several attempts realized that there is a reason why i put it where i did :)

graham came home with an assignment to make a valentine's day box..... hmmmm... all my scrapbooking supplies were shipped AND so was the elmer's glue!

i've been thinking a lot lately about all the 'stuff' that we have in our lives that we could easily go without, if needed. i have a much better appreciation right now for the things that i couldn't live without - my family and friends.
