The kids left a plate of cookies and (chocolate - yum!) milk for Santa and 2 carrots for Rudolph. Graham remembered at the last minute that he had written a note to Santa at school and put the note on the cookie plate.
Then Ross read them "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
Helen really didn't want Santa to come that night... in the weeks before Christmas - she would tell everyone "No Santa, My House! - No, Santa, No Ho Ho Ho!" Not sure where this fear came from.... we never went to see the 'mall Santa'. On Christmas morning when she saw that Santa had brought presents, she wanted me to reassure her that Santa DID NOT come in to her bedroom when he brought these presents! :)
