graham's class is studying a unit on jobs ... .this morning they visited a cafe to learn about the different jobs in a cafe. later in the unit - they will role play a cafe for several groups (of students) in the school and even the parents!

graham is a proud big brother too!

i am both happy and sad at the same time..... our last baby is pretty much walking!! i love how she holds her hands up in the air for extra balance! and the look on her face as she masters the movement of walking - priceless - she is so proud!!!

she will be 14 months on sunday and i am so thankful for this "extra" time that she has taken to attempt walking... i'll admit it - i selfishly love carrying her around on my hip :) but she wants to keep up with her siblings.

when i was visiting my parents back in October - i found a book at Hobby Lobby with some really cool clothing patterns. i bought the book and some material and FINALLY finished this jacket for helen! i even made it reversible and put some trim on the sleeves :) i can't wait to try some more patterns from the book! now i want to try and make jillian a jacket too! picture in the book that i modeled my jacket after
