flat tire!

this piece of metal was removed from my tire this morning... i was up in racine yesterday afternoon and when i arrived home - i noticed a light on my dashboard...

sooo.. .since i didn't recognize the light, i pulled out my owners manual and it said "low tire pressure". hmmmm. so i walked around the back of the van and noticed my back tire was almost flat. my first thought was "i'm glad i'm in the garage" then i thought - "what would i have done if this happened to me on the road..."

milk donation

this may be too much information for some... but i wanted to share that last week i donated 144.5 ounces of my milk to a milk bank in california. most of the milk will go to nicu's and a small percentage will go to africa. i thought it was a good cause and personally i'm proud to be able to share this with other infants... especially since i had to work so hard for the "extra" milk i've produced (pumping is not really my thing :) )

all the testing to get qualified was free to me... even this shipping, containers, etc was all provided to me at no cost :)
