Another Engineering Accomplishment!!

I dropped my Tide stick behind the washer (doh!) several weeks ago. For a while, I wondered to myself (as I dump numerous loads of laundry a day...I spend lots of time in front of the washer!)... how am I going to get that Tide stick??

then... 1 night it came to me!!! I'll put tape on the end of a yardstick and reach down and get the Tide stick!!!

it's the little accomplishements somedays :)

advertising scam!!

today i received this letter in the mail (look closely at the upper left hand corner)... my heart skipped a beat... i thought for a moment "how fast was i really going down the tollway a few weeks ago? it couldn't have been that fast and i didn't see any of those camera cars... plus i was just going with the flow of traffic!"

i paused for a moment wondering how i would explain this ticket to ross. i opened the letter.......... it was an advertisement for PALMEN MOTORS!!!!! what a scam!

Swim Bike Run!

Ross competed in the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon this morning! We are so proud of him (secretly I really want to race now!!!!) - he finished with a personal best time!

the concrete is not done yet - but that didn't stop the kids from taking their 1st swim in the pool!

our backyard finally has a shell of a pool in it! yeah! graham even got to dig a few scoops of dirt out :) (jayden was still sleeping and doesn't really know that graham got to dig!)
